Quilt Shop In Amsterdam

Salam to All,

I know it has been ages since I write any new updates. I'm sure ramai yang tertanya2...depa ni dok meniaga lagi kaa??...Well..the answer is...YES...we are still in business. Masih lagi passionate with this handicraft. It's just that both my sister and I are a bit busy with other projects so we chose to remain low and slow. Takut nanti tak terbuat customer's order...tak best lahh...

Anyway, what I wanted to share with you are some pictures of a quilt shop I found in Amsterdam during my recent trip there.

 This was the highlight of my visit. I was like a girl in a candy store. The best part was...this shop was just 10 mins away from my hotel. But yang tak best nya...I only managed to go there on the last day of my stay.

The shop owner allowed me to take pictures of the fabric but not the quilt...tapi I curi-curi ambik jugak.

Geram kannn....dok berangan sangat 1 day Pondok Craft will be as big as this...InsyaAllah...!!

Hatiku rasa sungguh berdebar2...jiwa rasa bergelora...tapi since Euro tinggal tak banyak...apakan daya.....huhuhu

And lastly...this is me dengan muka yg amatlah tak puashatinya sbb tak dapat nak beli banyak barang....posing while looking directly at the Quilt Shop.

Charity Project : Back To School (Final Update..At Last)

Assalamualaikum,

I'm a bit malu to admit that it took me 2 mths to finally give the updates...huhu...jangan marah. Anyway, I'm not going to give any alasan...so here are some of the photos of all the items & products that we received from all of you.

Cantik-cantik...kan??? You ladies and also ada jugak a few gentlemen memang truly talented lahh...I'm truly honour & humble to be in your presence...tak terkata punya lah honour.

All these items were given to Elly of Sanggar Suri & Kak Siti of Aljauhar.

We must do a lot more on this charity project. Kalau ikutkan hati dan diizinkan Allah swt nak organize something for kaum2 ibu tunggal yang miskin pulak..InsyaAllah...(umur dah nak masuk angka 4 series ni tetiba asyik tak larat je...uikss..alasan la pulak..but it's a true fact...!!!)

Charity Project : Back To School (Update)

I am pleased to inform you that todate I have received more than 100 items for this project...I'm truly grateful to all of you. Terkejut dan tak terkata lah bila tengok barang2 tu semua...coz all the items received are really beautiful, extremely unique & highly creative. You all ni memang super talented & creative laaa....kecik rasa diriku ini..uhukk...uhukk...

Anyway, I'll update more photos of all the items received. Plus photos when I hand over these items to Elly. Fyi, she has already started to deliver other items collected from other donors to areas in Pantai Timur. Our items will be sent to the next destination in Perak.

OK ladies...nanti I update lagi...btw...if you terlepas the 20th Dec deadline...tak apa...just send over the items. Awal ke lambat I will make sure your items will be sent to the respective charity places...OK...

Charity Project : Back To School

Salam semua,

All of us love sewing...no doubt about that. We have managed to produce so many beautiful handicrafts for sale or as gift to our love ones. But why not for a change let us do it for charity.

So, dengan rasa rendah hatinya saya ingin mengajak rakan2 'crafters' semua bersama-sama Pondok Craft untuk melaksanakan 'Charity Project' ini.

All you need to do is :

1. Sew any items that relate to 'Going Back To School'. For example, pencil case, tuition bag, colour pencil holder etc. Anything that is handmade by you. It's your design, your item.

Eg : Pencil Case

2. Courier your items to Pondok Craft (14, Lorong Perai Utama 5, Taman Perai Utama, 13600 Perai, Penang). We will compile all the items & distribute to Rumah Anak Yatim.

Pn Elly of Sanggar Suri (www.eksekutifsuri.com) is kind enough to help us to distribute these items.

Deadline : 20th Dec 2010.

Come on Ladies...let's do this. Let's make this happen.

Alhamdulillah it has been a great year. So let's do this demi untuk mencari keberkatan dari Allah swt ke atas setiap usaha & rezeki yang kita cari.

We have been quiet for the past few months. Blog pun tak update...sales aktiviti pun tak dak. Well...bukan lah sebab Pondok Craft dah berkubur but my sis and I were very busy with family commitment that we have to lay low for a while.

OK...enough with that...what's new???

Our online store....!!!... For those of you who have been following us from the beginning may have notice that our online store pondokcraft.com dah non-existent anymore. Dah kena hack sampai 2 kali which has resulted in all the files being deleted. I gave up tak mau pakai Zen Cart anymore.

So...hari ni nak announce online store baru. Masih under construction i.e tgh upload all the products. But, you can go in there and check out.

Why do I choose this online store & what is so special about it?

Our physical store....For next year..Insyaallah kalau diizinkan Allah swt we will have 1 new staff to help us man the shop. With that our shop will be operating 7 days a week. Nak attend classes pun will no longer be limited to Saturday & Sunday sahaja...Hope this will be a great relieve to those yang nak datang tapi selalu plan agak terbantut coz my sis & I were not in.
